You can use this script to check your server/hosting can or can’t install magento.

Hi,
I’m new with magento and I’m trying to install it on windows using wamp.
I’ve created my magento folder in www (so I have wamp\www\magento).
Where I put your file in www folder or in magento?
To call it I have to navigate to http://127.0.0.1/magento/magento-check.php correct?

I think you should use it before you install your Magento.
I suggest you put it on the localhost root folder, so like http://127.0.0.1/magento-check.php
