How to add login form on the home page?

Here is a tutorial for how to add login form on the Home page.

Open customer.xml from layout folder, and find (around line 91)

</reference>

Then open cms.xml and find (around line 46)

<block type=”cms/page” name=”cms_page”/>
</reference>


Now copy the

<block type=”customer/form_login” name=”customer_form_login” template=”customer/form/login.phtml”/>

So the final should be:

</reference>

Then you can do what you do.

    Hello Sir,

    I am developing a website http://www.developersolution.com , I am trying to add a CMS page! But i want that should show within in My Account Section! I have done This! But now problem is When we click on that page the left My Account Blcok do not come! Any help would be appreciated!

    Could you check on the XML. which layout you use? (2page, 1page or sth. etc?)
